In this work, we investigate the possibility of battery drain Denial\-of\-Service \(DoS\) attacks in the RPL implementation of ContikiOS. In particular, we use the popular Cooja simulator and implement two types of DoS attacks, particularly version number modification and “Hello” flooding.
